In 2009 Cadillac is offering a new Escalade. The Escalade has been on the market for several seasons now, but in 2009 they are going to be offering much more. The 2009 Cadillac Escalade is going to be a hybrid. Not only do you get a great performing vehicle with luxury, but now you also get an increase in fuel efficiency. The new specs estimate about 20 miles per gallon in the city with 21mpg on the highway.
The Escalade is still an SUV. This means it is heavy and that does cut down on the fuel efficiency you would get from a smaller vehicle. Under the hood of the Escalade you get a 2 way hybrid engine. This means you can transfer from electric to combustion without noticing a change. It also means that you get more speed and power based on the engine type.
The Escalade also has changes to the braking system. They have decided to improve on technology by offering a regenerative design. Instead of losing brake pads to wear and tear you have non mechanical energy that helps you break. With the engine electricity powering the brakes they are gentler on the pads, according to Cadillac. You also can store power for the brakes.
Now that we have examined the engine and the fuel efficiency of the Hybrid we can take a look at the performance and interior. Despite the hybrid engine you still have a V8 with 332 horsepower. This is where performance comes in. The Escalade also provides 367 pounds per feet of torque for 4,100 rpms. Just because it has a hybrid engine doesn’t mean it won’t have power. You can even get the four wheel drive edition to pull 5,600 pounds. Power is definitely not lacking in this vehicle.
If the engine design is not enough think about the inside. Being Cadillac you know the Escalade comes with power seats, windows, mirrors, heated seats, and the best leather money can buy in a vehicle. What makes the interior better for the 2009 is the up to date navigation. You have navigation software integrated with the radio. You get to see all the engine information, as well as move through the city streets without issue. Besides navigation you have a DVD system, rear view camera, 5.1 surround sound, three zone climate control, Bluetooth integration, and remote start.
Safety is also a top priority with Cadillac. They have a five star rating with all the airbags needed to assure all passengers will be safe. Each seat will have its own safety belt tested to make sure there are no issues. Overall the 2009 hybrid Escalade is a car to have if you have the budget.
2009 Chrysler Cars, 2009 2010 Chrysler Future Cars

Chrysler has been an American producer of cars and trucks for decades. They used to be one of the top companies for a decent product and a decent price. Chrysler and Dodge moved together and some changes were made. Now Chrysler is still a top name, but they can be more expensive than warranted when compared. If you are still interested in Chrysler it make be important to note what new cars they will have in 2009. Some of these cars will be upgrade changes to those already on the market, while others may be concept vehicles.
The first vehicle for 2009 from Chrysler is the 300. The 300 has been around for a couple of years now offering a family sedan or luxury vehicle. It was not known for its fuel economy, but that is about to change. The 300 series can be found with a 5.7 liter V8 engine. It has been redesigned to offer more horsepower. While this is great you might elect for a smaller more economical engine. It is an all wheel drive train. To help the fuel economy just a little the front axle has been changed. It is offering an axle that is not connected. Each of the 300 models will have the standard options you expect in a car today. The 300’s will also be a smoother ride than in years before.
The Aspen is Chrysler’s SUV. It has been upgraded mildly for more fuel economy as well. In fact you now have a two way hybrid engine. This engine is supposed to increase the fuel efficiency by 40 percent overall. The Aspen will also come with a television in the back for passengers. This is of course an optional feature that you don’t have to choose. As an SUV it will have plenty of space in the trunk, as well as in the back seats. The back seats will fold down to make carrying items easier.
The next most popular Chrysler that receives a few changes and an updated model is the Sebring. The sedan is going to offer 4 wheel drive with antilock brakes. The air system inside will be better to combine with the noise reduction offered. Stability control, remote start, audio buttons on the steering wheel and Bluetooth are being offered. The Sebring may not change for the engine, but the luxury offered is certainly an improvement. The convertible Sebring is also getting some changes for controls and usability.
Overall Chrysler is not offering different series, but improvements on their older models to make it more technologically advanced for users. They want to inspire environmental aspects, as well as usability for the owner.
2009 Dodge Cars, 2009 2010 Dodge Future Cars

Dodge is bringing an oldie but a goodie back with the 2009 Dodge Challenger. In the 60’s and 70’s Dodge offered a Challenger for a muscle car. Dodge had such success with the muscle car in the earlier days they decided a new model with technology and power should be offered.
The first thing you will have to decide is the engine. You have a couple of choices in engine size. One engine is the V6 in the SE model. The second option is the 5.7 liter V8 in the SRT 8 model. The SRT model offers 425 horsepower. The 2009 vehicle was first announced in February of 2008 at the Chicago Motor Show.
Perhaps one of the reasons Dodge decided to bring this model back has to do with Ford. The new Ford Mustang is also from the past, and that means Dodge needs to keep up. The downside to bringing the Challenger back is the price. They will be offering the Challenger for 40,000 USD. Of course you still get the beautiful looks, leather seats, and power. The Challenger is supposed be better for gas mileage as well, but with the engine you might not find it that good.
To further add to the Challenger you have a six speed manual transmission. It helps with the fuel efficiency, as well as making it a more powerful sport like vehicle. Automatic transmissions for most don’t belong in muscle cars.
The Challenger has the MyGig entertainment options. This means a navigation option with Bluetooth, keyless start, as well as remote start. If the new technology is not enough, you also have updated safety. It offers anti lock brakes, power steering, brake assist, airbags on both side and front, and stabilization options.
The interior is going to be all leather for the seats, steering wheel and gear shift. The gages are in the old style. They fit in their own dash area by the steering wheel instead of going the entire length of the dash. You have plenty of cup holders and arm rests for comfort.
The design of the Challenger has not changed. It will still have the square look with low hood and small grill. It is going to be made from fiberglass though instead of metal. The SE does have differences like a smaller grill, and wheels. It also doesn’t have the spoiler that the RT offers. As an old concept in a new era the Challenger is definitely worth a look.

What makes Hyundai a great manufacturer is the affordability. They may offer luxury in their vehicles, but they still give the car a nice price. It is not about soaking the consumer for 75,000 USD like Cadillac, even if it has some of the same features.
The first change in 2009 is going to be to the Accent. The Accent has been on the road for several years, but Hyundai decided to make a newer model with better amenities. The new options help increase the fuel efficiency about 8 percent overall for highway driving. In earlier models cruise control options were not offered to keep the cost down. The 2009 Accent will have the cruise control. The SE model is going to come with the sunroof. The thing about the Accent is size. It is a family sedan with plenty of trunk space. This hasn’t been changed other than to offer more comfort. It may not be a new car, but it certainly has some new touches.
The Azera is the luxury family car by Hyundai. Again it is not a new concept, but certainly worth choosing because of 2009 upgrades. This luxury offering will have a new style wheel, better suspension, and more control at the steering wheel. The seats are meant to be more comfortable. The Azera will be offered in more than 7 colors with a new audio system to incorporate the iPod and USB input jack.
The Elantra sports a few changes as a hatchback vehicle. It still has the great trunk space, with a smaller back seat, but you get audio upgrade options. You can use an iPOd, USB, and satellite radio in the car. The GLS and SE models will have better suspension and steering. The SE increases its spring technology to be firmer and therefore more reactive on the curves. The Elantra also has a new option in the Elantra Touring. This new model is to be released in 2009.
It is the most up to date Hyundai on the market. You have a 2.0 liter engine in a 5 door wagon style body. Test drive results were extremely high, which is why Hyundai is going ahead with the launch. The fuel efficiency is at 23 miles per gallon in the city with 31 on the highway. The only downside to the Hyundai Elantra Touring is the noise and plastic. It does have some luxury, but other interior parts are less than you would hope for overall.
Hyundai is also offering the Genesis. The Genesis is an answer to BMW’s 5 series with rear wheel driver, a 4.6 V8 or 3.8 V6 liter engine. You will find the Genesis model lives up to the specs being offered for both price and drive performance.
2009 Lincoln MKS
Posted by site admin on 15 Dec 2008
The Lincoln MKS has been on the market for a few years and has added a more reasonably sized sedan to the Lincoln brand. Mercury’s Lincoln brand has always been known for luxury with its Lincoln Town Car and Lincoln Navigator so the introduction of the Lincoln MKS has been a good addition.
You can expect to get a lot of perks with this sedan as they have used the latest technology in this car. The new feature that everyone wants to tout is the adaptive head lights. They help as you are going down the road. These headlamps will follow the road, making it better to see around curves. The new MKS is supposed to have Sirius Satellite Radio with a travel link. The Sirius Travel Link is set to be an integral part of the vehicle. This should include all the great options that you get with their radio system such as weather updates. If you live in larger cities you can get traffic reports and during the winter ski reports. These have been joined now with movies, restaurants and fuel prices displayed on the inboard screen. You will also have a detailed navigation system in the MKS sedan.
They have the technology now to put an adaptive cruise control on the vehicle. This marvelous invention allows for safer driving practices with the touch of a button. The car will read the road and traffic conditions around the vehicle and it will adjust accordingly. A new generation of smarter cars is coming and the Lincoln MKS is going to be a part of the coming generation.
The seats that wrap around your body for that ultimate comfortable feel are made of leather, and you can get the seats with a seat warmer. Lincoln has gone to great lengths to procure the best leather possible and found it in Scotland. The center console has an armrest so that both driver and passenger can relax. The back seat has a fold down armrest that can be stowed if you need more seating.
You can get the Lincoln MKS with a sunroof that allows even your passengers in the back seat to enjoy the outdoor scenery. This is something that has been on the Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKZ since they were first introduced as well. The Lincoln MKS is definitely designed to be a luxury car.
The vehicle comes with a 3.7 liter engine which means a V6 and they are planning to offer a turbo charged car later on. This size engine will produce average results where fuel economy is concerned. It is expected to be 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 mile per gallon on the highway. This car isn’t going to be inexpensive as it runs around 37,000 dollars as a base price. However, with all the upgraded features it may be worth it.
2009 Nissan Cars, 2009 2010 Nissan Future Cars

Nissan has several models of vehicles on the market. Many of these models are going to get a few changes made to them, but they are really unremarkable. Some will have new wheels or just an upgrade in stereo equipment. The best news about Nissan is the GT R Spec V. This is a concept car by Nissan that is supposed to be a top sport vehicle.
The GT R is not a new model. In fact they have been around for a couple of years. The Spec V is what’s new. The Spec V will have more power and speed than the original. It is set to show up at the Fuji Speedway in November 2008. It will then be delivered to Japan for January 2009 sales. You probably will not find the Spec V in the UK or even US until 2010. As of yet there has been no information regarding the actual release date for multiple countries. The price is set at 101,000 pounds.
If you don’t have the budget this baby will just be a dream for you. The car is going to have a carbon roof. The original GT R has backseats, but the Spec V is not likely to remain a passenger supercar. The design is for a sport car, not families. The GT R is also rumored to be in a purple color rather than silver or black. It may just improve the looks enough to be the best vehicle on the road.
The engine of the GT R Spec V will be a V8 with enough horsepower to make it worth the sports design. Surprisingly Nissan offers many sport vehicles. The information on the Spec V is still being withheld for the most part, so we will move on to other Nissan changes for 2009.
The 370Z will have a larger engine for 2009. It is also a sport style car. In fact it is a two door coupe with a hatchback. It has been designed for couples with a high budget that want to go fast, sit in luxury, and be able to park just about anywhere.
The Maxima has a new version offering a smaller sedan vehicle. The engine size is 3.5 liters with a V6 to provide 290 horsepower. The Maxima will continue to be an automatic transmission as well as front wheel drive. You can expect the vehicle to be comfortable for smaller families and have more fuel efficiency.

Ford is offering a few new cars for 2009. They are bringing back the Mustang unchanged from the last couple of years, and offering the Ford Flex. Despite trouble the Ford Company is seeing right now they are still going to offer their new cars. They also have plans for releasing other options in 2010 and 2011.
The Ford Flex is more of a luxury crossover than an SUV. The Ford Flex can seat up to 7 individuals and is expected to get 24 miles per gallon on the highway. As a crossover vehicle it has the SUV chassis, but doesn’t have the power for off road drives an SUV has. It is also a very long vehicle. It looks more like an SUV limo than a regular vehicle.
Before we get into the Ford Flex’s engine we should mention it has a great deal of storage space. The Limo design inside and out offers fold flat seats to help you carry more luggage or other objects. It has a vista roof and fridge option for the back if you wish. Standard options are the noise reduction and being lower to the ground than an SUV. It makes it a lot easier to get into the vehicle. Also inside you have the SYNC technology, with navigation, Sony audio system, DVD, and mood lighting.
The Ford Flex comes with all the standard safety features you could need, plus a few more. It has intelligent all wheel drive meaning it knows when to stop and has the electric braking system. It also comes with the reverse camera aids to help for parking or backing up.
Now that you know luxury is available in the Ford Flex let’s take a look at the engine specifications. It comes in a front wheel or all wheel drive option. You have a 3.5 liter V6 Duratec engine. The transmission is automatic with 6 speeds. For horsepower you can expect 262 @ 6,250. The torque is rated at 248 @ 4,500. It has direct valve lifters and a catalytic converter. The entire engine is made out of cast aluminum to make the vehicle lighter.
The Ford Flex is still a five door vehicle, due to the hatchback. Despite the three rows of seats inside you still have to work your way to the back to enjoy the comfort offered. The first and second rows of seats come with heated options, but the back row does not.
Overall the Ford Flex is definitely a family luxury vehicle. If you want compact and better gas mileage the Ford Focus in 2009 is your better option. Otherwise the Ford Flex has a purpose to fulfill for large families or families who like to camp.
2009 Honda Cars, 2009 2010 Honda Future Cars

In 2009 there are going to be several vehicles on the road with changes and updates. From Honda you can expect a new series of the Civic Hybrid to be released. The Honda Civic has a couple of different trims and therefore a range of pricing. In the US the Civic will be 23,000 to 26,800 USD. This is on the expensive side considering non- hybrids, but more than worth the price.
Hybrid vehicles are not known for being inexpensive, but the technology certainly makes up the difference. You have an electric motor combined with a regular petrol engine to help fuel efficiency, as well as emissions. The Honda Civic is rated at one of the best emissions levels.
For the 2009 Honda Civic expect the engine and fuel economy to be the same in each model. What changed are the interior offerings. The 2009 Honda Civic CVT basic will be less than the leather, navigation or combined leather and navigation models. The engine is a 1.3 liter with 110 horse power. If you know about cars, then you will know the horsepower is not the greatest. In fact it doesn’t have a lot of starting speed, but once in the city or on a highway it will be able to hold the speed limit just fine.
In the city you should expect to have 40 miles per gallon, with 5 extra miles on the highway. For safety the Honda Civic offers seat mounted airbags for front and side. There is also electronic braking assistance. If you get the navigation model you will have voice recognition GPS with DVD. It has a 6.5 inch touch screen. It can also use a digital audio card reader when needed.
When you get this model combined with leather seats you have the most in luxury for a Honda. The Honda Civic offers a nice family sedan. You have four doors with up to 5 passenger capacity, and a large trunk space. The vehicle has been designed for style and is quite similar to the Pontiac G8.
The Honda Civic is the best hybrid to drive if you want to see. The Toyota Prius has a split back window that makes it difficult and offers a blind spot. The Honda Civic doesn’t detract from safety in any way, offering a decent sized back window as well as front windshield. Overall the Honda Civic is a rounder vehicle in style.

Saab is one of those car companies that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Many consumers have found the Saab to be less than comfortable and not very stylish. Luckily Saab has finally figured it out for 2009. They have several new options coming on the market for 2009 that will be both pleasing and enjoyable.
The first Saab is the 9-3. This model is a convertible. It is also referred to as the 2.0T model. You will discover behind the wheel is an all- wheel drive with a V6 engine. The thing that sets the convertible apart from other models is the rear differential. It is actually electric helping you gain a smoother ride. The 2.0T is considered a sport vehicle, not only because of the convertible aspect but because of its action. We mentioned it has a V6 engine, but did not tell you it has 280 horsepower. This is an improvement over other Saab models.
The 9-5 is only going to have a few changes to the series. The real 9-5 will not hit until 2010. This is when you will see the best improvements. It will be best to wait another year if you really want something to pay for. The 9-5 in 2009 is going to be more expensive than the current model. It will also have more elegant options inside, but it is still not going to be worth the extra cost.
The 9-7x definitely has some changes worth knowing about. For one the 9-7x series will have Bluetooth options. This means it will work with your mobile phone if needed. It is also going to be a special version because of the navigation and upgraded wheels. The wheels will be 18 inches with a polished rim. While the changes are nicer than the original it is still a bit expensive for the software upgrades it has.
The last option you might find sitting around dealerships is the 9-4x. The 9-4x was released this year at a US car show. It uses a bio power option. It is actually a concept car and yet to have a worldwide debut. As a concept car it will be more expensive and mostly for those with a high grade budget.
For Saab there is really only one car to consider for 2009, but consider 2010 as a better year for Saab. This is when the real changes will occur to offer something you will definitely want.
2009 Chevrolet Cars, 2009 2010 Chevrolet Future Cars

Chevrolet is experiencing some difficulties in the US right now, but this doesn’t seem to be stopping the production of new cars for 2009. They are still going to be putting out some changes to different series in the hopes of gaining more consumer attention.
The first vehicle they will be making changes to is the Avalanche. The Avalanche is a cross between a truck and SUV. It has been extremely popular in years past, which is why Chevrolet has decided to bring it back for another year. In the New Avalanche you should expect an automatic transmission with 6 speeds. In other years it has only had the 4 speed transmission. The Avalanche is also going to get more updated technology to make the vehicle worth trading up for. Some option items include Bluetooth and a camera for reverse parking aid.
The Aveo is the car being talked about this year from Chevrolet. The Aveo has been on the market and had a round of updates in 2007. For 2009 more updates on the Aveo will occur. The Aveo 5 will have a bigger body for a family style sedan. It will get updated wheels, colors, and a leather type of material. The leather material is in reality only vinyl. The other edition to the new Aveo is OnStar.
The talk surrounding Chevrolet has also mentioned a new Camaro. As you know the Camaro has been off the market for a couple of years now, but Chevrolet felt it was time to bring it back. The new Camaro will be debuted in 2009 for a 2010 Chevy Model. The new Camaro will have a convertible model. The release date for the convertible is set for 2011. In this new Camaro you have a 3.6 liter V6 engine. It will offer 300 horsepower. You also have a choice for a manual or automatic transmission, both with 6 speeds. The new Camaro has the typical design with a longer hood, and shorter rear. It is definitely a muscle car to own.
The Cobalt is also getting an upgrade for 2009. It will have a new valve system 2.2 liter engine, and is supposed to increase fuel efficiency. The tires are meant to be low resistance so that less wear occurs, as well as offering a smoother ride. Cobalt is adding a manual transmission option. You also have the Cobalt SS with a turbo engine in a coupe. This was released in 2007, but continues to be a solid model for Chevy. They are adding technology to the SS version with OnStar, iPOd options, and Bluetooth.
